Description
Ndolè is the Cameroonian name of Vernonia’s food varieties. It is a vegetable plant whose leaves are eaten green, but also to a lesser extent dried. It is a shrub grown in gardens for its leaves that serve as a basis for the national dish of Cameroon also called “Ndolè”. The leaves and roots also have therapeutic virtues.
